Why ISR?
Statistics…
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), drowning is the leading cause of death for children under the age 5. ISR's Self-Rescue training is an added layer of protection, teaching your child water survival skills in a completely safe environment.
The Research…
Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) is the safest provider of aquatic self-rescue instruction. With a 100% safety record and more than 50 years of research and development behind ISR's self-rescue program, ISR teaches each child survival skills in conjunction with developmentally appropriate swimming lessons to give them the competence and confidence required to safely enjoy the water.
Highly Trained Instructors…
All Certified ISR Instructors are highly trained both academically and in the water. In addition to working with actual students and learning how to teach self-rescue and swimming skills, we receive training in anatomy, physiology, child psychology, behavior and development, sensorimotor learning, and how each relates to the aquatic environment. Further, we maintain CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as complete annual recertification and testing to maintain our ISR certification and skills.
